Integrated Defense Arts

     Hello, this is Sensei Frank Cole, my foremost hope is that you expand your scientific mind and understand God's laws that allow for the Martial Arts.  This site it an extension of my desire to teach good science to practitioners of all Martial Arts.  The science presented here is solid as is the Martial Theory and History.  Please contact me if anything funky slips through the cracks.

     This site is offering a home study program in a Martial Art I have been slowly developing for the last seven years, Integrated Martial Arts, IMA.  If you feel like training in the home study program we developed, click on the Home Study link at the side of the page.
    
     My professional background includes a lifetime of loving and studying the Martial Arts, a BS in Biology from Murray State University- where I studied Genetics and Molecular Biology.  I hold a 4th Dan in Integrated Martial Arts, 4th Dan in the interwoven styles of AMJ Jujitsu, Freestyle Karate, and Shioku Waza (Pressure Points) and am a Sensei (teacher) in all three styles- Certified by Master Israel Velez and the Diversified League of Martial Artists.  Recently, I was given a promotion to 2nd Degree Instructor with the Radical Martial Arts Society; this honor was presented by Grand Master Eduardo Roldos.

         My personal background includes a lovely wife and three wonderful (and very dissimilar) children- ages 9, 6, and 2.  I live in a quiet town in West Kentucky and have been studying and/or practicing some type of defense art since I started training in Tae Kwon Do in the fifth grade.  Though my Tae Kwon Do lessons only lasted a few months, a seed was planted and the Martial Arts have been a fascination ever since. There is more to my Martial Arts story, and I may one day post a full biography, but for now I would like to mention one last thing about myself.  I have been a Christian since 1986 and invite anyone who wishes to know about Grace of Jesus to E-mail me senseicole@yahoo.com.  I would love to tell you about Him
    
     A note on my certs below.  I only posted them so you all know where my training came from and what has influenced me over the years.  There is no room for boasting in IMA, IDA, or Self Defense in general.
