Different Hand Positions for Striking in Integrated Martial Arts
The Fist
Note the position of the thumb

Tuck the thumb into the palm a bit

The Spearhand
Flex middle finger level with ring and index finger
| The Knifehand
Keep thumb parallel with the fingers
|
The Palm Heel
Draw the thumb back a bit from your palm
| The Claw Hand
Keep your fingers slightly bent and very tense

The Stun Hand
Keep hand tightly cupped and tense

Keep extended finger very tense, and supported by middle finger

The Ox Jaw
Make a cup and strike the throat with your hand's webbing
